People began queuing up in, out and around the Libri store in the MAMMUT mall hours before author Salman Rushdie was to begin signing copies of his books translated into Hungarian.

As he walked into the store, virtually without security, the shoving began for positions. Apologies for the slightly blurred photos.

A gentle spirited man, he waited patiently for camera flashes to subside before taking on the task of signing copies of his books.
