About Us

Welcome to Budapest, Hungary
and the European Union!

You may still think of us as Your Welcome Wagon in Budapest but Budapest Resources had been revised and renewed. It was initially established by a native Hungarian and an expat, BudapestResources was the first website to help foreigners visiting or living in Hungary with practical matters of recommending reliable service providers. We are still determined to provide you with this service through a collection of reliable, quality service providers. Major news in and around Hungary we leave to news specialists but we do offer you links to their sites.

Whether this is your first visit to Hungary or a move that is bringing you here, you may rely on us with confidence to help you get settled by referring you to the service providers who are specialists in their field. We know that you feel vulnerable in a strange place and a different culture where even the language is unfamiliar - so we take care in making sure that there are 'no small tasks' when it comes to your needs.

We can help you to become familiar with the culture, provide helpful tips on everyday necessities, interact with or for you with governmental offices and or service providers or repair persons; help you find a school, housekeeper, babysitter, lawyer or community group to get involved with.

Get in touch with us to find out about the number of services we offer so you can concentrate on your life.

Cookies

The following list of on-line cookie recipes was making the circuits a few years back in Christmas mailers. I was fascinated by it then and still am so I thought I would share it with those of you who love cookies.

Chill the milk and let's begin.
