The castle hotel is located in the southern part of Heves County in Hungary by the Tisza Lake at Poroszlo. [GPS coordinates N47.64130 – E20.64250] The castle was built in 1900 and remodeled recently to provide rooms and apartments for guests along with conference facilities for the business community.

It is easily accessible from Budapest and ideal for adults and families alike. There is a wellness facility within the hotel and for the more active, bicycle rental is available.

The guest rooms of the castle are located on the ground floor and the top floor under the roof. All rooms have a private bath as well as a TV, fridge, double bed, coffee table and chairs. Rooms are air conditioned.

Apartments are also available on the castle grounds for larger groups or families. These are suitable for 4-6 persons and are 70 m2 in size containing a bathroom with a tub, completely equipped kitchen, living room and balcony.

Restaurant and Conference facility The restaurant is located on the castle grounds. On its first floor there is a 300 m2 conference facility that may be divided into two 150 m2 conference rooms. The conference room(s) are equipped with TV, video, CD/DVD player, projector, screen and flip chart. The conference facility is free of charge if participants are staying at the hotel.

The Club also caters weddings, family events or other social gatherings. The restaurant prepares local and regional dishes with equal ease.

Hotel is open year-round.

Calendula Infused Soy Oil

Ingredients
1/2 cup dried calendula flowers
3/4 to 1 cup organic soybean oil
Vitamin E oil
Orange essence oil

Instructions:
Place flowers in an 8-ounce Mason jar; pour in soybean oil until jar is nearly full. Drizzle with Vitamin E oil and mix with a wooden stirrer. Seal jar tightly.

Place in a paper bag or cool, dark cupboard for at least two weeks to let herbs infuse the oil. With a wire mesh strainer, strain oil into a sterilized jar. Strain again through a cheesecloth or coffee filter.

Drizzle finished oil with 2 to 3 drops orange essence oil, if desired.
