
We know the summer is nearly complete when the finest winemakers gather around the Royal Castle buildings in Buda bringing with them their prize libations for the lovers of wine to sample over the days of the annual wine festival. This year will be no different so take out your calendar, call your friends and make plans to spend a lazy afternoon dedicated to getting better acquainted with Bacchus.
The programs will begin September 7th and will continue through the 11th with artisans and musical performances, including a gala concert, will enhance the pleasure and the senses throughout the festival.
The honorary guest this year will be France, however, the festival will host 220 winemakers from 15 countries with a total of 5,000 wines on exhibit.
